The saddest of posts: Farewell time!

Hello again, my dear readers, my dear friends beyond readers! We've been like a family here for two years. We learned a lot of good and useful things together. Now it's time to say goodbye. Before saying goodbye, with your permission, I would like to briefly explain the difficulties and contributions of this course to me. 

In this Material Design in ELT course given to us by our dear teacher Gökçe, at the beginning of the term, I was quite afraid that I would not be able to cope with the projects we were going to do. But I think that we managed the lesson as best we could, thanks to the help of our teacher and the cooperation of my friends. Through this course, I learned many useful and entertaining materials that I will use for my students in my future teaching career. While doing this, I also learned how to solve a problem when faced with it. Because when designing materials, more than one problem arises, but you also learn to deal with them over time. Also, sharing this whole process with you, my dear readers, has been another source of motivation for me. 💕💫

First of all, I would like to thank my dear teacher for his contributions, my dear friend Aygül, with whom we collaborated on all projects, my dear readers, and finally myself. We love you so much, see you with other projects and posts! Don't forget me, take care of yourself! 👋💜

We will fill my blog, which was filled with all the materials we made in our Educational Technologies course last year, with fun materials we designed in the English Instructional Technologies and Material Design course this year. We started our lesson by looking at the history of technology in education and language learning. Our post and task today will be related to this. We will look at how technology has gained a place in language education from the past to the present by integrating the knowledge we have learned with what we have learned in the course.  Hello again, my dear readers! This week we are together again with a very different material. We have been working on Corpus-based material with our lecturer for 2 weeks. So now you're going to ask, "What is a Corpus?" Let me explain right away. Corpus is a large collection of texts that are systematically selected and stored as an electronic database. And this database is often used in linguistics to validate rules.  Integrating corpus into language education and lessons as teachers will provide many benefits for our students' language learning processes. Students who know how to use corpus will be able to learn the smallest detail about the words that confuse them, and they will be able to easily understand a grammar subject they have difficulty with thanks to the many examples presented in corpus programs.
